Today’s case study highlights how even the smallest step towards digitisation can help in a big way.
A London council had contracted a number of bailiff companies to recover parking fines. Their goal was to split the parking tickets amongst the bailiffs by a given ratio, distribute the tickets, and receive regular updates from them as per the status of the tickets.
This process was handled manually via multiple spreadsheets, which made it prone to errors. Firstly, it was difficult to distribute the parking tickets, and secondly, it was a tedious process to keep track of the status of each ticket.
Teque created a platform allowing the user to upload the tickets spreadsheets easily, and the system would then automatically distribute the tickets amongst the bailiffs as per the set configuration. It also created a direct avenue for bailiffs to report back on the tickets.
The new system proved to be a game-changer for the council. It resulted in a significant improvement in the process by saving many hours and public funds for the council.
